This application note explains Registration over Wire (ROW): a factory-line flow that provisions and registers Amazon Sidewalk endpoints over UART, with no mobile app, gateway, or in-field registration step. It covers the one-time account onboarding, workstation setup, the per-device flow, the firmware integration contract, and the security-level and factory-reset behavior that must stay consistent across images.
