Glossary

Region — the regulatory zone whose radio rules a device observes, expressed as a single enumerated value; detected by a gateway, provisioned on an end device.

Conducted power — transmit power measured at the antenna port. Power figures in this note are given as conducted power, so they are directly comparable.

Sub-GHz — the sub-gigahertz radio links (FSK 50kbps and LoRa) whose behaviour is region-specific, as distinct from Bluetooth Low Energy.
